JAY-Z's Rocawear clothing brand has stopped selling online its controversial "Occup\ Wall Street"
themed t-shirts in an apparent response to criticism aimed at the legendar\ rapper for attempting to profit
from the protest movement.
The shirts, which are no longer available on Rocawear's website, featured the words "Occup\ Wall Street" scrawled
in large bold white letters on the black garments. But the "W" in the word "wall" was squiggled out and an "S" was
added to the word "street" -- to read "Occup\ All Streets."
The shirts were priced at $22.00 on Frida\ before the\ were taken off the website.

Jay-Z faced harsh criticism from "Occupy Wall Street" supporters over the T-shirts when it was revealed none of the
profits would be shared with the protesters.
"To attempt to profit off of the first important social moment of 50 years with an overpriced piece of cotton is an insult
to the fight for economic civil rights known as #occupywallstreet," an "Occupy Wall Street" leader who goes by the
pseudonym Grim told TMZ.
Jay-Z was seen sporting the "Occupy All Streets" shirt earlier this week when he hung out with hip-hop mogul Russell
Simmons, who is a supporter of the "Occupy Wall Street" movement.
Jay-Z, who has had 12 No. 1 albums, has spent much of his career promoting the massive accumulation of wealth and
celebrating the people that do so. Jay-Z's Roc-A-Fella records and Rocawear clothing brand are named after 19th
century billionaire oil magnate John D. Rockefeller and his wealthy descend

  • Nice video, your a bright fellow.

Jay Z, used to be a drug dealer in Marcy projects. He sold drugs to children!! So how is it that we should we be surprised that Jay Z is selling out?

This is certainly not the first time Jay Z and Beyonce have been greedy. Remember Beyonce singing for former dictator Ghadaffi's brutal son at a new years party?

On the real, these are bad people that are profiting while laughing at us at the same time.

Any comments from Jay Z? No. Because he's a COWARD.

  • Good point bro. You hit the nail right on the head. They want to make loot. That is true capitalism, so we can't hate him for it. I just think it's funny that with all the money he makes he becomes a money junkie. It's his Karma from the crackheads he used to sell drugs to. Now he is like a crackhead craving more money, kinda like the greedy corporate pigs OWS is up against who steal our money for bad bets. Bad move on any of those hip hop dudes down there including Kanye and Russell Simmons

  • jay z is the point zero zero zero zero zero zero zero zero one percent. He couldn't be for the occupy movement, full of shit.

and the guy in this video looks like a combination between havoc from mobb deep and jadakiss and carries their realness, good point man!

  • @bigmike82011 He turned his back on his community years ago. What can he do? Be a better person. Instead, his incredible GREED makes him no different than the other corporate slime that we see on a daily basis.

Jay Z is not a good role model. And he defines the term "sell out".

    Do you feel differently?

  • @chuck9788 lmao how did he sell out.? what possibly could he do in the hood.

  • jesus is coming back and its going to be when he gets ready which shouldnt be long so just wait i understand what your saying in the video people who are desperate for money and attention do stupid stuff

  • All I want is to make money, be happy and find love. I don't care about this shit yah hippies

  • @phil29ism Instead of being little children and bitching about whats they dont have they could go get a job, get a degree and get a job making good money. Instead they are being little kids and bitching about it and asking for handouts.. I.E. welfare checks and foodstamps. Poor people who arent trying to do anything to better their life. Just living off the government.
