  • did she played barefoot?

  • It is not customary, in my understanding, to play serious recital literature barefoot. She did however, refrain from wearing gloves.

  • not serious?.lol it`s waste!if i can play better barefoot i doesn`t intrest me!the main thing is that i have feelings for the pedals!

  • Well, seriously no gloves, and seriously wearing shoes. Wouldn't mind hearing you play, better or worse. Let me know when your next recital in my area will occur.

  • fantastic accomplishment! beautiful woman!

  • Indeed it does. The instrument being played deserves better recording equipment, also. :)

  • Her playing deserves better audio-equipment

  • Great job Katherine! You need to post some more videos of your playing.

  • Wow! I completely ran across you, Katherine, by mistake! I live in Chattanooga, TN and attended your concert last month at St. Paul's. I also go to Grace Episcopal where your mom, Mary Ellen, just retired from being our organist! It's obvious there is fine tallent in the Meloan family! Looking forward to your next concert!

  • Is this St. Anne and the Holy Trinity in Brooklyn Heights where Mr Eaton is the organist? I think I have played this organ! It is a great instrument. Very nice playing...

  • LOOLL FINE Katherine--lool

  • No, she was NOT barefoot! Damn fine Katherine.

  • Why do you ask if she is playing barefoot? People always seem to think that organists playing barefoot is unsightly, which it may well be but it is a very good way for us learn new pedal parts more quickly as no shoes maks it a fair bit easier, i however will always wear my shoes, but when playing this part in practise its much easier without them!
