But the cheat of this video is not an 'unofficial cheat', you can do it without USB Gecko.

This video shows how to get ilimited combos in training mode with Mewtwo's Shadow Ball special attack.

In order to cook it in the best way, you need these ingredients:

The tallest clean wall in the game (the one in the secret Ness stage), the fastest falling opponent (Fox), 2x speed, and move Fox to the bottom with the joystick (although this last thing does not mark a big difference and it may risk your record).

The video sound is crap (not even sound in great part of time) but hope you can at least understand each step in the video.

There are several trophies that are unlocked through the number of combos you do in training mode. So this cheat is very useful to get all them at the same time, fastly, and with few effort.

But this trick is most useful to get a too exaggerated record with Mewtwo that you can show to your friends.

You get more or less combos depending the time you work on it. Me got more than 14000 combos.

This also works in Super Smash Bros Brawl with Lucario instead of Mewtwo ;)

@Syllabus666 Just a correction: Fox is the character who falls the fastest.. Falco's "Fast fall" Is faster than fox' though.. Get your info straight before you correct others ..
