Recently, I have purchased an add on for my UX1, I found lots of helpful reviews on youtube, so I wanted to contribute myself. And here it is.

Please note that those presets of mine are still in phase of fine adjusting... I noticed some bad stuff about them right after recording, but thats not important now. My pickup is also not so good, I think its worse than the duncan designed. So this is basically a poor mans rig. If you have better pickups, you will sound better. But thats also if you have bad pickups -.-

Here are simulations of Diezel, Peavey, ENGL, Marshall, and also a Line 6 original, Big Bottom. They are all listed on line 6 site.

Not all of the tones are made to resemble some bands tone, and i didnt play only those bands with the tones they were made for thy.

And, I hope i wont ruin the job for line 6 with my crappy playing. Njoy!

  • hey man , are you use the pod hardware? or just you use the software? , and waht are the characteristics of your pc?

  • @xBetoix I am using UX1.

I recorded this on my old PC, which is nothing special, AMD 3000+, single core, 2GB RAM, 7300GT gpu, which doesnt matter here, but anyway...

  • @Testamented91 ok dude , thanks, just one last question , how did you get the metal hi gain amps?

  • @xBetoix I went to their site, they have a section with downloads, add ons, stuff like that, after that, the purchase was pretty easy... But I recommend you see some of my later clips, most of them are recorded with free VST amp sims, which IMO sound more natural and real. It takes some time to understand how to use them, but after that, they are very customizable.

  • @Testamented91 so , what is the name of the pug in dude?

  • @xBetoix Check out the descriptions, I usually list what I used... But you cant go wrong with 7170, Lecto, or TSE x30
