Just a simple Let's Draw video.

We draw out and shade a Crocodile Skull enemy. I use my Headphones as a microphone this time, so I sound a little different. I also make no sense for most of the time, so prepare for a very strange, very different episode.

Sorry for the High-pitched Whining sound in the mic. It didn't come through too badly until I uploaded it to Youtube... -_-

  • Hey how did u do the translucent head in the second frame

  • @RRN1999 See that little slider above the "Direction Options"? Sliding that toward either side will give a transparent image of the next frame on either side of the current one. It's really useful, although a bit hard to notice.

  • lol you have an interesting way of shading. I usually fill with the base color and then shade with darker colors by coloring in those areas. You do it backwards by making the base dark and then coloring in 90% of the artwork as highlights... Don't you think it would be faster to just shade the dark parts? Not knocking your methods, just curious. Love your videos though. :)

  • Lies! This isn't the stupidest video ever! You are still the most god-awesome computer artist I know...

  • Your the BEST!!! XD

  • Sorry double post.

  • @TheRoyalFirebird Before you replyed i figured it out, but thx anyways ;)

  • @TheRoyalFirebird before you replyed i actually figured it out. but thx anyways. ;)

  • @Jacob33333Films oh i forgot to add, make sure to reset the fall damage to 0 when you are on the ground, but, do it AFTER you apply the fall damage! If you order the events incorrectly you could set the fall damage to 0 before you even add it to your player's damage D: In other words, make sure the event that adds the damage to your player is above the one that sets the fall damage value to 0.

  • @Jacob33333Films it's fairly easy, i can help ya out. Just give your player an alterable value named "FallDamage" or something like it, the name isn't important. Then, have MMF2 detect when your character is falling and add 1 to that value constantly. Now, when you land on the ground, add your FallDamage to your player's damage value and divide it by a number, maybe 4 or 5, maybe more depending on how much you want the fall to hurt the player. There, you're all set :)

  • MedowHare!!! Please do a tutorial on fall damage!! please please please.. iii neeeddd iiiittttt :O

  • I can't believe you made a PaRappa the Rapper reference, I haven't thought of that in years. Great crock, too!
