COOKING LESSON WITH LES

Something different. Dad began making corned beef cabbage, and when he got tired I took over for him. We make a good team and it turned out great - although the potatos didn't have to cook so long. :)

Yums. I miss having corned beef. My mom learned to make it from my dad's mom, who was pure-blooded Irish (complete with a long full Catholic name). I'm somewhat untraditional with it, though, as I like to cover the plate with red vinegar and have the meat soak in it!
