Berkeley WiMAX Test Bed

The Berkeley WiMAX Testbed being set up at Berkeley and Emeryville by Industry and Academia is a collaboration of UC Berkeley, CCIT, Glocol, R Systems and other partners and was cited by WiMAX Forum ABTG for funding as the first US Mobile WiMAX Proof-of-Concept Lab and Sandbox in 2006.

We are back again now for Innovations 2008 to create a WiMAX Innovation Network.

While WiMAX is being seen as the next generation technology for Broadband Wireless Open Networks, there is still a lot to do! Creation of this Sandbox will help provide the much-required Software Application Testing and Connectivity Infrastructure (SATCI) for Mobile Applications - Clients, Connectivity and the Back-End Cloud.

Get ready for the creation of this ecosystem, partner and leap forward.
