In this segment, we get the latest scoop from Terry Hicks, Diezel USA, about how we'll be seeing more and more Diezel Amps across the US in the coming months because they have started a specific branch within Diezel to help spread to sound of their amps nationwide. They also talk about the new Schmidt model, which was released at this year's NAMM show.

  • not cure a lack of talent, intuition, and an all around sense of music and art. If you suck, not only will people still cringe at your playing or secretly talk amongst themselves of how bad you are, but you will be looked down upon for spending so much money on a high end piece of equipment that you are more or less blaspheming with atrocious playing.

  • like the back of his hand and can tell you exactly what they'll do. I've never met or heard a REAL musician complain about these, as REAL musicians know that left and right hand technique make up the bulk of your tone. These amps are a perfect vehicle to not only expand your tonal boundaries, but inspire new ways to physically grip, bend, pop, and pull on your strings... and much much more. I can't emphasize the tone that is literally derived from how you physically play, enough. These amps will

  • ..styles and feels. No amp and no company produces products that are so good everybody will love it regardless of their personal taste. This sounds like common sense but apparently it isn't given some of the complaints I've seen. If you hate metal, and like country, you will be unhappy with a herbert. You can get some twang and pop from the herbert, but not like you can from the schmidt. Likewise, if you're a corpse fan, you'll probably be disappointed with a schmidt. Terry knows these amps....

  • Currently I own a diezel herbert. I can say I have never met a sales rep with such genuine passion, knowledge, and concern for the relationship between the owner and amp, as Terry Hicks. These amps are not just an amp for light hearted use or future trading. They are an investment. I would never recommend buying one without extensively studying the tones of each model, as they are all very very different. You can be very disappointed if you choose the wrong model, as they do address different...
