i swear some people dont get what triggers actually are. they dont make double-kick faster, or cleaner, or anything like that. triggers are how electric drum kits work, you hit something, the trigger detects the hit, and an electronic brain that the triggers plugged into makes a sound. all they can do is to clean up double kick is get rid of volume variations with compression, or just setting it up so that even the lighest hit makes the loudest noise it can.

dude, i love your heel technique on the double bass, my pedals arent long enough to try that but that would definatly make it easier, i wish my i could double bass between 4:36 and 4:47 was as clean and crisp as yours haha
