  • Thank you CNCTEMATIC for your reply to bebs7.

I invited Bebs7 to a systema seminar last january, he had the chance to discover the practice with Alexandar Kostic :) And he was very happy to experience it by himself.

  • Because i understand at early age that it is not by criticism that you help people or enlight them, but by being a truly living exemple of what you pretend :)

If you pretend more than you are, you are in deep shit whatever is the area !

Take care of you and yours. I wish you to have what you want in you daily life !

  • Although im a fervent practionner of Systema since 4 years now, i spend several time in Moscow studying it with the foundator himself and his best student, i have myself my own critics on the system

The difference is that i keep it to myself, and i apply them only to my own practice and search.

And i dont interfere with other's aims/believe/purpose in their own practices or life.

  • @billysue2 Dear Billysue2, i wish you an happy new yearr to you and yours, enjoy life, health and wealth, and i praise God to help you fullfill on your own path.

Please, just let us the happiest brainwashed guy on hearth in peace we dont really care about what you have to say about Systema.

Everywhere there are those who know, and those who do. And the number of first are far far far bigger than the number of second. In which set are you belonging ?

  • @billysue2 you're obviously a rude little prick with an agenda so its pointless identifying all the things you don't understand. learn some manners.

  • @CNCTEMATIC elegant work?its completely unresisted rubbish and the uke is falling all over the place for him to make it look good.Ive never met anyone involved with systema who isnt completely brainwashed about its supposed effectiveness

  • @Bebs7 My pleasure. Although given you've trained with Alex Kostic you will have learned far more than I can say. He is an amazing practitioner and teacher. My own teacher trained with Vladimir when Alex was a senior student in Toronto. My teacher's strikes feel like canon balls to me, but he always says they're nothing compared to Alex's or Vlad's. Anyway I am but a learner who loves Systema. I think your comment about it working on a 'meta' level is very insightful.

  • @CNCTEMATIC

Thanks for the answer, I had the chance to experience a seminar (thanks to plonkaz) and I really liked the "meta" aspect i found in Systema.

  • @Bebs7 (sorry I do not speak French; I used Google translator)

Systema does use strikes, but not restrictively. A key aspect is developing an understanding of human body structures - where they are strong, where they are weak, and using that to your advantage. That is the purpose of this drill, I believe - finding the weakest part of the person's structure. In real combat that knowledge would be used differently. A key difference with aikido is Systema does not have set responses to set attacks

  • Really elegant work. Loved the one finger takedowns. This man obviously has a very high level of understanding of structure and tension.
