Isle of Man Scottish Widows sponsored Parish Walk 2010

The Parish Walk consists of walking to every parish church on the Isle of Man within a time limit of 24 hours. A total distance of 85 miles. This video is at the National Sports Centre where the race started at 8:00am Saturday 26th June. Although the video is not high quality I think it sums up the atmosphere and numbers taking part. 1700 entries received.....1535 then later registered, and maybe a few didn't make the start line but this amazing event remains as popular as ever.

There will probably be something over 150 finishers and I will post a video at the finishing line. The finishers will be arriving at anything from soon after midnight right through to 8:00am on Sunday. About 90% will have dropped out before then.
