Mira Shiva: The Health Effects of GM foods

Dr Mira Shiva is a prominent medical doctor and public health activist in India. She gave her inputs to public hearings on the introduction of Bt Brinjal in the country.

She is Director, Women, Health & Development, Voluntary Health Association of India (VHAI), Co-ordinator, All India Drug Action Network, and member of Doctors For Food and Biosafety.

Excellent video! Many of us in the U.S. are trying to educate others as to the potential dangers to health and the ecosystem by manufacturer "tested" GMOs.

The General Assembly of the peoples' Occupy Wall Street Protests have made the poisoning of our foods and the pervasive and unethical acts of corporate farming a part of their demands for change.
