Lane Splitting on the 101 East between Topanga and the 405. Following another bike, and eventually catching back up to a police officer who was also splitting lanes. The video is sped up 4x

  • Sweet. I grew up in Australia and lane splitting was the norm there too. Now I'm in Wash. state and I have to sit in traffic backups for miles, like all the cagers. But I love my trips to California! :)

  • @djay49 thats the great thing about the motorcycle.... cages are stopped, but I get to keep moving.

  • nicely done, I guess youre also a good poker player

  • @teyacapan I guess I've won a few hands in my day... but I guess I don't know what poker has to do with it :-)

  • so what ?

  • @IIxSmgYxII it's a video on youtube... not sure if there is always a "what". Although I did pass a police officer while lane splitting...

  • Come over and drive in Naples, Italy- this is normal driving over here! The car drivers expect it and anticipate motorcycles to split lanes, and if they can get away with it, they split lanes in cars, too. I've been riding here for a year now and love it that the people are easy-going about two-wheelers using common-sense and driving around stopped traffic. I'd be afraid to do this in the US- too many road ragers....

  • very dangerous

  • @philipjcaputo that you know when to take a chance and win.
