i did see his but it looks like MAYBE 1500 people at most if you look at the crowd from David cooks high school there was over 10,000 people just for that, not to mention the parade crowd this show was at a downtown venue that only can hold so many people, david cook is way more talented then david A he has a future in Church music but that's about it David cook will be a superstar topping tha charts

That means nothing. Many times, I've seen contestants get HUGE homecomings, and then go on to lose.

i have to say he is talented but he has not nearly as many peaple as david archuelta had at his homecoming party he had 75,000 peaple there not counting all the other things he did so it might be over for the other contestsants watch david arhculetas homecoming party then ull see wat i mean

it seems that he is touring because he's the winner. YES! haha. VOTE DAVID COOK. He has to win this for the rockers who weren't able to get the title (bo bice and daughtry)

It was so cool to see him in person. I think he sounds even better live than he does on Idol. Can't wait for the tour in August:-)

FIRST TO COMMENT YAY!! The TV station's audio and video feed weren't very good, IMO (I watched this as they streamed it over their website), but when you can hear and sing, you get a glimpse of David Cook's remarkable talent. And here's a guy who's played to tiny audiences and now people are singing along with him. His interview with the 93.3 radio station shows he's amazed by the whole situation. What a great guy. GO DAVID COOK!!!
