The Abandoned

Synopsis:
An American woman searching for her birth parents learns she has inherited a house in the
middle of a forest in a remote area of Russia. It is the house where she was born.
Abandoned and uninhabited for 40 years, it stands in total disrepair and neglect.
What she finds is more than an old house. She meets a mysterious man who claims to
be her brother, a twin she never knew. Together they find the house holds secrets to a past
they don't remember, forced to relive a series of horrifying events and shocking murders
that occurred just after they were born, in the place they were supposed to die.

This was one of the better ones of the original series. along with "penny dreadful" and "reincarnation". The only problem i had with it was it was a little too slow, but otherwise not bad at all.

I just got done watching 1408 and this was recommended..... Now i GOTTA see this. Btw 1408 was a good movie to add to my Ghost horror collection 9/10.

@pathogeniclithograph It's annoying, because were fed up of being associated with Russia all the time, our language and culture couldn't be more different, (apart from a few similar words in Slavic) we share an alphabet which they got from Bulgaria anyway. apart from that and Communist rule, nothing in common. It also assumes that people in the west don't know the difference...anyway who cares....it's just an irritation and ruined the film for me.
