Can designers and scientist work together? NANOART was initiated by GU Holding and Nano Connect Scandinavia to find new answers. During an afternoon several designers, researchers and business managers explored new possibilities in the borderland between the worlds of nanotechnology and design. NanoArt was moderated by Anders Breitholtz who has worked several years with design and materials.

This event is part of GU Holdings TIKK project which aims to find new ideas and talents from the Faculty of Fine Applied and Performing Arts in Gothenburg University and Nano Connect Scandinavia which aims to support networks, collaboration and innovation.

We would like to give a special thanks to Bengt-Göran Rosén for giving us an inspirational introduction, Anders Breitholtz for leading the workshop and Carl (Mezcla) for filming and editing this short film.

  • A great example of how an artist's perspective can open new insights for technologists, and technologists can expand the artist's palette in ways they never thought possible.
