@irenikus777 I'm not really saying it's a bad thing, per say. I can understand that the sound that I, personally, may be hearing may be from her accent, as it's, more often than not, in her English songs.I noticed it in some of her other songs too. The songs in her native tongue and in other languages, such as Magnificat Quia Resexit, are fine. But I agree that her voice is beautiful, and to use you analogy, like a cat's purr. I am in no way an expert, Miss Turunen knows way more than I.

It's not a nasality thing, it's due to her conformation. I really love it, it's like a cat purring.

She has different ways of interpreting by the way, and different timbres.

I love the rich, dark, chocolatey (XD It's like chocolate for the ears) tonality of her voice. The only thing is her vowels are alittle nasally (For lack of a better word) like she doesn't keep her corners in when she does A or I vowels. But she also has an accent (which is adorable) so that can contribute to said sound. Other than that her breathing and squeezing (AKA B.S XD I <3 my choir teacher) is exellent and well, everything else too. :3 Rakasan sinua (I think I spelt it right.) Tarja!!
