How to drag a knee in a bumpy parking lot on a hill, 50 foot radius circle, with sand traps. New stator didn't burn up, but for some reason voltage dropped and digital speedo quit, perhaps for riding too slow for new voltage regulator to switch on, or regulator overheated and shut off. Speedo started working again after I got home, and voltage checked at 14.25v without lights and 13.9v with lights. Stunters add 1 quart of oil and extra fans that stay on all the time in parking lots. Hot PSI was 29.5 F/R. Factory PSI cold is 34 Front and 38 Rear for straightline highway use only (at max gross weight in wet weather), but is too hard for dry curvy roads at my weight (150 lbs) and causes "cold tearing" on the Dragon. Alignment feels screwy, with factory marks on swingarm off by 1/2 inch as measured by strings, straight edge and laser beam. Front brake disk off 1-degree camber leaning to the right compared to rear brake disk. Rear wheel centerline is 1/8 inch to the right of centerline of chassis measured by plumb bob. F/R wheel spacers correctly installed. Bike dropped twice while parked in a ditch, so maybe chassis, fork or swingarm is tweaked.

TDOT Safety Audit Review bans business on US129 at Deals Gap Dragon: "The Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP) has decided to take action in eliminating commercial activity along state right-of-way in the project area. This enforcement is intended to disallow persons from taking photographs of vehicles and motorcyclists with the intent of selling the photographs at a later date. The THP contends this activity is a hazard o public safety. It is recommended that signs be placed at the entrance of each end of the route advising this policy." -Tennessee Department of Transportation, ROAD SAFETY AUDIT REVIEW, STATE ROUTE 115 (U.S. 129), BLOUNT COUNTY, 25 July 2007

  • Man, you've got a death grip on that tank!

    Ha ha! keep practicing!

  • where did you get those knee sliders?

  • You take that far too seriously just hang off the bloody bike, your bodys twisted by the way

  • oh god this guy suck,he takes too long to drag his knee

    i want my 3 minute back ! ! !

  • careful them lines are slick at those angles.

  • keep doing that and see what happen man lol

  • @3000ST1 nevermind...I re-read what I wrote and you were right...I had it backwards.

  • @3000ST1 preload equal a stiffer suspensions, but you are compressing the preload springs to achieve this...therefore the rear will sag MORE just by adding preload....AND it is stiffer...which is a double whammy.

  • @yakitoriPB - More pre-load = more stiff which = less sag. Don't get this the wrong way around especially when advising others as it could be dangerous.

  • To drag a knee, isn't your knee suppose to come into contact the with....the pavement?
