  • Have you read Eckhart Tolle's book, A New Earth? He speaks about present moment awareness ... it's an excellent discussion on the subject. pp

  • I am an artist myself... and its great to see how many different styles each artist processes yet similar principles are applied. I love charcoal... my work is a lot more traditional but like i said... same ideas used. Im going to my studio as we speak because of you!!!

  • hi! How wonderful that we can all be an inspiration to each other! and it's great that we each have our own unique way of expressing ourselves thru our art. pp

  • So true about dropping memory. It is memory which stops us from painting an accurate picture. Constantly our minds are trying to tell us what it should look like not what it actually does look like. Wonderful video, thank you!

  • Your welcome! thanks for your comment ... by the way, Kobita lives her life in the same way, moment to moment. pp

  • Thanks for watching ... I'm glad you liked my video. I like your metaphor of it being like a dance ... I agree.

  • very nice work.

  • One last thing referring to the comment you made about living in the moment and not depending on memory... I like to think of it as learning to forgot. You learn what you see and how to handle what you see but you forget it to get the pureness and life of the momment.

  • We'd all be happier if we could learn that this moment, now, is all we have. And stop looking back and forward!

  • Great video. It's amazing what someone can tell in 4:39 minutes - very informative. It's like you are doing a controlled dance to aid you in building up the controlled structure to your work.
