One can say the same about a newborn baby. Or a baby that was born 30 days ago (it's already said by Peter Singer). Maybe you can say it about a baby who was born 15 or 20 years ago. Because if god doesn't exist, by your logic, it's okay to kill human babies.

Great headline, but there were a lot of entailed things in that legistlation that I was againsted. If they introduce a true legistlation to protect live babies, Not one person would ever deny it.

Religion isn't about abortion. Maybe some religions make a bigger deal out of it than others, but that's not the only issue revolving around religion. I hate to break it to you, but you don't know everything or every person. You have a very American ethnocentric point of view.
I'm pretty sure your 11 years old and believe every word of your parents bitching. You need to learn to believe in something deeply on your own.

What Obama says here is complete BS. Because about 97% of abortion are because of convenience. And he is NOT trying to limit/reduce abortions, because he specifically voted "NO" THREE TIMES to passing a law to protect the rights of babies once they are born after an attempted abortion, and then killed after birth. (Illinois Born Alive Infant Protection Act) Search it if you haven't heard.

WRITE IN RON PAUL FOR PRESIDENT

I can't believe Obama quoted Micah 6:8 ...to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with God...in the same breath as I am pro choice. Obama pretends to have virtues, moral or religious beliefs, principles, etc., that he does not actually possess, esp. a person whose actions belie stated beliefs.
-
Go to 9:12-Obama's about to say Clarence Thomas wasn't experienced, but quickly changes his wording so as to not invite a comparison to himself.

PS.... That includes history, there are no countries in history that were not effected by religion (Greeks, Romans, Persians, Egyptians, British Empire, etc...)
Separation of church and state is an American concept. One that isn't working too well, considering religion very much effects politics here, think about it... This debate wouldn't have been held in a church if it didn't have any effect.

By the sound of your statements Dadosmrado, you are ignorant of the difference between an opinion and a fact. For your information every word of your comment is not "truth" it is merely your flawed opinion.
Furthermore, if you can name just one governing body that is not effected by any religion (Muslim, Buddhist, Hindu, Christian, Wiccan, etc...) in any way than you are officially the only person on the face of the earth to hold this secret "truth." And by that I mean full of shit.
Yes please reduce abortions!

seperation of church and state doesnt mean seperation of faith and politics. It doesnt mean that religion and government do not coexist and operate in the same sphere of influence. If they want to have a forum in a mosque they can. Just the same as in a union hall.
