They say we can dial 911 and the police will save us... Here's proof they are not being completely honest when they say that....

Takes 1 to 2 minutes to make the 911 call it takes 3 minutes for the person on the other end of the phone to ask ya whats up and where are you in the house and then get your address,takes 10 to 15 or 20 minutes for the police to arrive on scene,and takes a split second for the guy to pull his trigger. Although the police will clean up the bloody mess that is if ya bleed after you have been shot! I will protect myself and call 911 so they can clean up the bad guy's.2nd amendment cant change.

Its a fact the more violent crimes take place in the most gun restrictive area,s ,,Case in point DC versus Arlington VA . the reason for the second amendment is to protect your state and family from the Federal government .we have places where only the police have guns we call them "Prisons",if you,d feel safer there easy to get into !

@wheatgrinder762by54 Might be because guns are not to be treated equal to anything else. It's a tough subject. If there weren't any criminals on the streets with guns, I bet you wouldn't mind leaving your gun at the shooting range. But you are right, comparing this subject with any other, like a car, is kind of funny.

Jup. So if the law didn't ban guns, but made the rules around guns much harder (sorry if that isn't correct english), less people would be able to get guns and the streets would be safer. Left or right, I'll be against having guns at home. The problem is, it's very hard to get all the guns of the streets and then out of the houses of the 'law abiding citizen'.

@RensDem people who want to kill will always find a way. if guns were never invented we would have kept using swords axes and bows and arrows. disarming everyone in an attempt to stop those who make a living off of finding ways around the laws is a stupid illogical move and will never work. why do people blame guns whenever someone does something stupid? if you killed some one with your car is it the cars fault?
