Carnival Pride HORN

The "Carnival Pride" cruise ship sounds its horn before shoving out of Grand Turk, Turks and Caicos Islands, on August 10, 2009. This is the third of three short blasts on the horn to signal the ship will go in reverse. This ship is a "Fun Ship" owned by Carnival Cruise Line, a member of Carnival's "Spirit Class" ships, and its port of departure was Baltimore, Maryland. It is a sister ship of the Carnival Spirit, Carnival Legend, and Carnival Miracle. Next to the Carnival Pride is Princess Cruises' "Caribbean Princess", which I was on, and which originated in Brooklyn, NYC, New York. This was taken from the beach right outside the port in Cockburn Town, Grand Turk on 8/10/09. In fact, everybody had to be out of the water when the ship was departing.

i was there!! haha i loved grand turk but half moon cay was my favorite. it was so beautiful. and i went to atlantis in nassau.

I was on caribbean princess on that day too. And to amtrak, all carnival ships have that distinct funnel.

I took miracle back in 05. You can tell that they are sisters from the shape of the phins on the top.
