These problems are just because islam is not truely understood and folloed. Islam give so much right to women. A woman can not only ask for divorce but she has also right to give divorce. I dont know about Arabs that they are intellect or not coz i have never been there. But atleast this know that in Islam woman has worth like a princes. But in all world, males want to be dominant. so it is not a religeous issue it is a gender dominance problem. Which is also in europe, asia & other all regions.

Allah only guides those who sincerely seek knowledge and truth and are willing to be humble and submit to the truth whether it agrees with their egos and desires or no. As for Yemen like most "muslim" country's they changed the religion to culture and when a new Muslim comes to them they celebrate, but when the new Muslim has knowledge and tries to reform them and call them back to the religion as it should be, they rebuke him and say ur new and we were raised as Muslims and they don't listen.

Even if what you claim would be right you sound nasty and no one will listen because you are offensive. the problem is not Islam, it is the ignorance of muslims to their religion and neglecting to practice as it should be not as their cultures have misconstrued it to be. Now about Aisha, what you give for Hadith is nearly correct. However you don't know anything about it's context of the life of Prophet Muhammad (sAws).

@shehab17 that verse is about how long a man has to wait in order to divorce, and it sets up 3 types of women: those past menopause (who have no periods), those who are prepubescent (who have no periods, like aisha), and those who are pregnant.

child marriage was part of 7th century arabia, muhammad raped a child, so now it's part of islam and part of yemen (not to mention plenty of other islamic countries, arab and non-arab).
