UCSD Medical Center - Code Orange - Influenza Exercise

Establish Command and Control under the Hospital Incident Command Structure (HICS) in an alternative location outside of the hospital. Establish perimeters and control for large scale immunization / screening Point of Distribution (POD). Deploy and maintain tent and related equipment that supports a large scale immunization / Screening POD. Practice and operationalize POD using annual flu vaccine program to train a large group of employees to fill positions in a mass care environment. Communicate using multiple devices. Exercise Public Information Office support in a POD environment.
