I was born in 1986, the same year that the after-school special "The Gift of Amazing Grace" was aired. I was obsessed with that movie for quite a while, and I always thought Della Reese had a powerful, timeless voice. She's 79, but still going strong.

Ahh, well, I'm born in '95, so I can't really say I've grown up with soul in my ears. But besides hip-hop, good ol' soul is my favorite gender. Everything sounds so synthetic and flat nowadays.. The 60's got way more mood, feeling and melodies. Ok then, KtF!
