You are kidding right? Bush knew exactly what people said about him. It was impossible to NOT know.
It was so bad in some cases, that it was more like a joke. Like, OMG, a cloud moved in front of the sun and is blocking my rays!! It must be Bush's fault.
Come on, I know people think he's a hick, but you really think he never turned the TV and watched the news during his entire second term? No one was free from the onslaught of Bush hate.
