There are people round here, that don`t kindly to the killing of the Buffalo..

One of the first Thin Lizzy songs I got into. It makes it even more meaningful since I have Cherokee and Lumbee blood in me along with African-American blood as well.
-
@blacksabfan Snowy was the one who seemed disinterested especially on Suicide. No wonder they canned him.

is there any footage off thin lizzy kings hall belfast september 1980. ?

@PrepDogg one of my favourites...and he is so tired here that i could cry.

No, I'm saying it needs more aggression. Not toward buffaloes and indians, but toward speed and delivery of the song's message.
Good to know you're just another pedantic troll that likes to split hairs about nothing.

better on the rockpalast show ´81, he has more soul there.. he seems strangely hurried here.. like he wants it over with.. :-/

Eh, I don't know. I watched the Rockpalast version of this song and I thought it was way too slow and Lynott looked tired during it. It's one of very few performances I've seen of him that made him sound disinterested and inconvincing. I think it sounds better faster and it makes the song sound more sinister. The song is about Genocide...slaughtering buffalo and killing indians. It's not really a song that needs much 'soul'. It needs more aggression.

Actually...scratch that. I take some of that back. I decided to watch it again and yes, it's much slower, but it's unfair to say that Lynott is disinterested. It's still pretty sinister and Lynott sings it in such a way that sort of makes it chilling, but he does look really tired. Almost like he's in a trance. It works for the song though.

Rockpalast wasnt the last gig. Rockpalast was in August 1981. They did several many more gigs with Snowy White after this, and nevermind the whole T&L album and tour...
