La noyee = drowned woman (according to my dictionary)? If anyone knows where the lyrics of this song is available, please let me know. Thank you.

Every time I listen to this song, I see the beginning of the most beautiful movie I ever watched - "For Lovers Only" with Stana Katic and Mark Polish :)

If you have not watched For Lovers Only, I suggest you go do that now. (:
You won't regret.

@pcx34 In fact, he's cuting in half some words for the need of the melody. For example, "Et moi cou.... rant sur la rive". This way, the lyrics seems dancing, like a waltz. Sorry for my english :)
C'est tellement beau. Je ne m'en lasserai jamais.

I have a question about his phrasing. Are his liasons the same as they would be if this had been spoken? For example, he says "Et moi-cou rant", but in the lyrics there is a comma between moi and courant. Sometimes, he connects the end of the last word in a sentence with the start of the first word in the next sentence. I know he's reciting in verse, but my question was about how the words are joined. Thanks.

@pcx34 You're right. He is juxtaposing the end of some words to the beginning of others, for the need of the melody i suppose. So damn exquisite!

@Ruanov18 oh thanks a lot for the reply. but are the liasons the same as if they were spoken? i gather that liasons are flexible. i've noticed in other french songs that multiple singers perform, that they each choose different words to link to emphasize different words. I guess that's what is meant when it's said that a lot is lost when french is translated to english.

@pcx34 I'm not sure to understand what you ask. Sorry ! But this would sound clearly different if this was spoken.
