Wow that's pretty funny that you say "Americans" because I'm talking about Scientists, those are the people who would have the most to say about the subject and would actually be somewhat of an authority on the subject, and I gaurantee you will never find a study that puts belief in religion over atheism/agnosticism, I've had these debates/arguments before.
