Watch my new Piper Pawnee towing my mates glider into the air. This is my first aerotowing attempt with my new tug plane. So there are still things to improve...

The takeoff was beautiful and amazing to capture it on video from that angle... Played around with RC towing a bit over the last 25 years... The last time was with a foam wing behind a standard .40cu Scanner Rc... used "Velcro" fastener for both ends of the tow release... Worked a treat (the KISS principle)... don't know if it would work for these larger models... the trick is to climb like a homesick angel once established in a good stable position after takeoff.
