April 12, 2006 - Freddy Harris III sitting in with Tom Devino @ The Red Door in Watertown, CT Tom Devino- drums Dave Livolsi - bass Jay Rowe - keys Kris Jensen - sax performing Maputo by David Sanborn
yes, dave livolsi has played with john scofield & kris jensen was with dicky betts for quite a few years. not sure if tom devino plays or played with the billy cofrances project, but he probably has. tom is from waterbury, ct.
Is that the same Dave Livolsi who plays with John Scofield? Is that the same Kris Jensen from the Dickey Betts Band? Is that the same Tom Davino that plays with the Billy Cofrances Project? GREAT SHIT, David Sanborn never sounded so good.
Trust me viewers, this is not even his second best solo performance. I played in an orchestra with him and he is the very best in the game, with Leon "Foster" Thomas a VERY CLOSE second.
To be fair, Leon Foster Thomas placed first in the 2002 World Steelband Competition while Freddy placed second.
Hey does anyone know the Jesse Macpherson that posted this video? Would really love to get in contact with him
