  • Do you have the one with Laurence Fishburne?

  • Ah, the one I LOST!! As soon as I am able to record it again, I will put it up though. Right now I'm working on Sydney Pollack.

I promise to keep searching for it though.

  • I wish there were more interviews out there like this with QT

  • "we've out-sophisticated ourselves out of some of the pleasures of movies"- strangely phrased but i know what he means... especially the hong kong movies- having seen all of zhang yimou's martial arts movies at the cinema, i heard those laughs... pissed me right off haha

  • it's pretty fucking awesome that even tarantino loves musicals.

  • Unfaithfully Yours is a bad-ass film..sadly forgotten these days. But that movie was decades ahead of if times...still cutting-edge 63 years later.

  • I'm googling every actor and movie i'm hearing in these interviews

  • Elvis Mitchell looks so badass.

  • Holy shit a movie QT hasn't seen...wait..."A star is born"...I don't blame him.

  • there are a couple on youtube

  • @etuheu ...i could listen to him knit a sweater and be riveted

  • i love these men so much.....they are both great friends of independent art

  • It took me a while to get past that. When I watched, say Mario Bava movies, I'd always laugh at the cheesy dubbing or the broad camera moves. What I missed was the impressive use of color and fluid camera-work. It's the same thing with reading, say a 60s comic book. It looks quaint and cheesy now, but if you don't look past that, then you miss out on so many great films, brilliant stars, brilliant design. It's like loving Shakespeare and opera; they're almost too honest until you get used to it.

  • how cool that elvis. the kind of person you'd think can talk about anything.
