This video showcases the Clark County Historical Museum's pilot education program, Artifact Detectives. This hands-on education program geared for grades 4-12 is currently in the testing phase in two Clark County Schools (Pioneer Elementary and Camas High School). The 7.27 minute video shows Pioneer Elementary School teacher Janet Dondelinger and her 4th grade students working with the kits. Archaeologist Jessica Hale pays a visit to the classroom to share her expertise with the students. The project was funded by a Certified Local Government grant obtained in partnership with Clark County and from the WA Department of Archaeology & Historic Preservation.
