Theres nothing wrong with the performance, it's just the recording, the acoustics, that seems to throw unknowledgeable people off. Instead of being grateful for you posting this, they bitch.

I like it, he is singing and doing the songs the way he wants to.

Stop criticizing it, he sounds alright. So stop whining about it, Ian was around before most those guys. Plus he has been singing and playing the flute for a long time now, cut him some slack.

Its not that bad, the guy is older now, what do you expect him to sound as good as he did back then? Get real, he sounds awesome for his age.

You need to get real, not me.There's plenty of guys still in rock'n'roll who are older than Ian and THEY sound amazing for their age.
Dio,Gillan,Paul Rogers etc....
And what's up with the slow motion timing of the lyrics these days?Thats even vorse than bumming a few notes,he can barely keep up timingwise anymore.Better than ever on flute though..He's still my hero anyway.
