Wow that's some seriously amazing stuff. Imagine how well that information would help out if used with CG facial reconstruction. They have these awesome periphs out there now that are like graphics tablets but for sculpting & programs that are kind of like Z Brush, but far more realistic. This data could allow an artist to do a 3D sculpt using a digital medium that doesn't simulate clay but instead simulates the flesh using this research as it knowledge base! OMFG! technology is AWESOME!
