@cirby88 Call of Duty, Call of Duty 2, and Call of Duty MW were great games; definately some of the best FPSs out there. Treyarch's Franchise has always been a joke. Once Infinity Ward starting throwing out the same MW stuff was when they tainted the Call of Duty reputation.

half-life 2 and its episodes, portal 1 and 2, crysis 1 and 2, all the call of duty games up to cod 3, metro 2033, medal of honor 2010 had a realistic story, resistance 1,2,3, bioshock 1 and 2, far cry 2, singularity, wolfenstein etc. dude you missed all the games with the best and longer stories you should not be a gamer.

1. BFBC2: Hilarious, badASS, and a great story. Best single player I've played.

2. Black Ops: Decent set pieces but an awesome story. The boat level was fucking awesome.

3. Killzone: Not KZ3, but KZ1, because the story was just so awesome.

4. COD4: The single player that has become the measuring stick for all others. Innovative and exciting as hell.

5. Halo 3: The overall gameplay was edge-of-your-seat the whole way. The story was pretty meh but the end level was INSANE.
