  • TX miracle. Mismanage to a $14 billion dollar deficit. Then close colleges, cut scholarships. defund science education, cut early childhood ed, slash arts ed, snd slash teacher incentive pay. If education=opportunity, then Perry is racing to create a generation of minimum wage service workers. but hey, at least they have the TX miracle of all those new job. Problem is for someone against bigger government-Perry totuat a record that has lost private sector jobs and added 125k government ones

  • @LandofCupcakes7 Striving for a better job is one thing its another if those jobs are actually available here in America. A lot of corporations are out sourcing there jobs to countries like India and most jobs in America are low wage. I do not watch TV ever and the closest i come is watching RT on youtube. Im not saying children hate education i think kids love learning when its fun and they are learning something that they know is going to help them in the long run. Public education is a waste.

  • @casinohijack Well believe it or not there are many TX students who are striving to do better than "flipping burgers" and "working at walmart".In fact, those students are suffering the most because they set for themselves a goal to do better in the future. What you see perhaps on TV etc. isn't always true, not all children hate school. We need encouragement. We are the adults of the future, and without us, there is no future America. And No education = a bad future for the generation after us.

  • I think education cuts should be much much higher in fact i think it should at least make up 75%. We are being to kind to the people who educate our children. If you go to school and the only job that is available for you when you graduate is a job at walmart or flipping burgers at mc donalds you do not need to pay teachers so much money for that kids education. In fact those kids need no education to flip a burger or work at walmart. Public education is not higher education it produces Slaves.
