[Mickey & Co.] - 10 Random Songs Meme (first half)

Decided to post them as I go. I had some of these done before, and I finished two today.

So...here's the first half of my "10 Random Songs to Mickey & The Gang Meme":

(There are only 4 here, so to the careful reader, you would note that 4 is not half of 10. That's because Donald/Daisy "Crush" is a part of this...just longer than the average one should be: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rZvOckPjGtQ )

Oh, and for the record, the timing may be slightly off due to the fact that I pitch changed AFTER I'd rendered. Whoops.

1) "The Lion King Medley" by Michael Crawford
Clips: Three Musketeers, "Brave Little Tailor"

Well, one lesson I learned from this is to never pitch change Michael Crawford. I'M SORRY, THE PHANTOM. He just does not sound right. *shakes head* I copped out on this. It's the fastest I've ever vidded anything. Took me maybe 10 minutes? I went with the easiest song to follow lyrics and the one that had no backbeat. Yeeee. Sorry it's so boring. I put it first to get it out of the way...

2) "Treat Me Right" by The Backstreet Boys
Clips: "Mickey's Rival," "Mickey's Rival Returns" one from "Runaway Brain"

A song I affectionately call "the song that sounds like video game music." I'm not a big fan of this song, lulz. But I heard "push on my buttons" and the scene of Mortimer teasing Mickey and pealing the buttons off of his shorts popped into my mind, and I had to. :) It's very hard to find angry Mickey scenes, just so you know. Especially Mickey angry at Minnie scenes. O.o But the Mortimer rivalry worked out for me on this.

3) "Heartbeat" by Remedy Drive
Clips: Fantasia 2000 - "Pomp and Circumstance"

I think Steph gave me this song because it sounds like a Christian song. ;) But it sounded fun to vid...so I tried to be as un-blasphemous as possible (haha) and used the Noah's Ark story with it. See? Christian song. Biblical. It works out. :) Anyways, I really went back to basics in editing this, but I like how the coloring turned out. :) I was going to do a mashup of Mickey, Donald and Goofy (sorry I haven't been including Goofy...I tend to get romantic songs...), but Donald really wanted to keep going.

4) "Gotta Be You" by The Backstreet Boys
Clips: "Runaway Brain"

The last of the BSB songs on my list. This song just generally sounds animalistic and crazed. And then "you really made me lose my head" is like "lose my brain" so I think it worked pretty well. :) Sorry for the awkward end. I was really out of clips...

So. That's all for now. More to come as I continue to procrastinate. :D

Oh, and for those curious about what this meme is, you basically put your iPod on shuffle and vid the first 10 songs you get (minus the ones that make absolutely no sense and the ones you've already vidded before). ;) Idea started by disneydork57.

This is so cool! I like how you're doing this little thing :) Those vidlets are amazing! But I think my fave has to be that Donald/Daisy one. The song really stood out and it matched well with them :) But overall, every one of these is beautiful!!

@DannyPhantomSG1 Well, I've now gone and actually watched the whole animated short...surprisingly the full thing is available on Youtube! Too bad you can't make it into an MEP, but maybe you should do a collection like this, but with Backstreet Boys songs! XD Would love to see what you could do with the song 'Larger Than Life'.

By the way, are you at all into the 'crack' disney pairings...that is pairing disney characters up that are from different movies?
