In most democratic countries there are more than two parties in the parliment/congress. Maybe something the US should try out?
Then the so called neo-cons could have their own party, the moderate conservatists could have another and the libertarians could have a third.
Maybe wouldnt change that much in reality but perhaps it will alleviate some of the controversies and conflicts of interest between people in the same party?

It's about time real conservatives go at it with the neo-cons that took over their party, however, I always thought that McCain would be one of the leaders of the real conservatives and not a guy that just sells his soul to the neo-cons.

God is pro life? the same god that ordered the israelites to commit genocide on their neighbouring tribes? the same god who killed the first born of every egyptian family?
If God is ProLife and you vote according that belief, are you also against war? Iraq war caused the deaths of between 150000-1million Iraqis most of whom were civilian.
The US army pays $2000 blood money for every civilian killed, is that the value you would put on life as a ProLife person?
