ALEXANDRIA, Ky. (WKRC) -- 18 dogs are rescued from horrible conditions in a local puppy mill. The dogs were kenneled in cages on Kramer Krift farm in Alexandria. The Campbell County Sheriff says the dogs were covered in feces and urine. They were kept outside in the freezing temperatures and the dogs had no fresh food or water. Friday night the homeowner, Dennis Kramer, is in jail. He faces 20 counts of cruelty to animals.
