Looks good. But you can buy a nice stand at a decent price - if you look at Sonorous for example. I bought mine for less than £150 from sonorous.tv and it is absolutely fantastic

It was about $80 for all the materials and some tools too.

im getting ready to buld one my self and i was wondering if i should add supports between the shelves to compensate for my heavy TV

I would if its heavy. I nailed a thin piece of plywood to the back of the whole stand and that brought everything together and held everything in place well.

Thanks, I did put the old TV on it and it was very heavy so I used that as an excuse to buy a new flat screen.
