If Bayesian probability were the norm instead of P values, and scientific results were routinely entered into a public central database, we could easily keep track of the state of Science's knowledge of any given subject.
The first guy to study something new comes up with a prior probability, and everyone after uses the current probability as their prior. Then anybody could see at a glance what the consensus opinion is and at what confidence!
It would be the death of pseudoscience.
