  • How sturdy is this table? I have a Husqvarna Viking Designer Diamond that is just too large for my sewing cabinet. I would like something that I could put it in and on to use for sewing and quilting as well as machine embroidery. I would hate to start my machine embroidery only to have the table wobble or vibrate across the floor. This would also open up my cabinet for my other sewing machine. Also, is it likely that a serger would fit in the smaller one? Thanks!

  • @margepoc - It's a very sturdy little table, but because I don't own an embroidery machine or have ever used it for that purpose, I can't really say how the table will feel. I personally use a Janome Horizon 7700 (a very big machine) in my Gidget 2 table and have no issues with vibration at all. I hope that helps!

  • please tell me what kind of sewing machine you have in your video.

I really like the large throat space. thanks, JoAnn

  • @MrTruthtalker - The machine in the video is the Juki TL-98QE. It's a good machine, but make sure to purchase it from a dealer. I bought mine online and regretted it. There's no where to get it serviced nearby!

    Good luck,

    Leah Day

  • The link in the description leads to a blank page.

  • @posaune16 - Thank you for letting me know! I've updated the link and it should definitely work now.

    Cheers,

  • @montyollie - You really must measure your machine with the plastic surface attached and see how big it is.

The hole in the table measures 17 1/2 x 7 3/8. If it doesn't fit, we do have a new table coming out in June 2010 with a 24" x 12" hole that might work better.

    Thank you,

    Leah Day

  • Is the hole a uniform size? I have one of those "Patchwork Edition" Berninas that comes with the added plastic surface. Would it fit in the hole or be too big?
