There's an acid jazz band in Orlando FL that does amazing fusion stuff like this, some tasty dnb drum licks with jazz fusion, but I don't know of any big name players. Brad Mehldau Trio has musicians of this caliber but they stick to more standard jazz formats. Check out LTJ Bukem you've never heard of him. Wish I had more for ya.

Anyone have a suggestion for similar artist that do this break beat/techno jazz fusion stuff? Unfortunately almost the whole rest of The Bad Plus catalog is nothing like this song (just my opinion not a bash or anything negative).
