I could have sworn after watching this game...the Netherlands were the most impressive team and full of way better athletics than Spain...poor Roben should have scored those goals and put a well long deserved star on that crescent

@ProgrammingNewbie Well, to start of with it. I am Dutch. Our boys got the max out of it. yet I think Spain deserved the title. We missed quality in the offense. Van Persie Huntelaar were simply not good enough to count on. The entire team was build around one man Robben. You need more than that in order to become world champion.

@luna252525 Would be nice, but I don't see it happening, guys like Robben Van Persie Van Bommel arent' as motivated anymore after missing the "big cup" last summer.

@commonsense2008 I think Robben will want to fix his miss at the world cup. van Bommel probably will retire before the European Cup. Van Persie I don't know

@meesromijn Well, we (I am Dutch) don't care much about the European Cup, since we won that one already in 1988. It was the world Cup what it was all about. So.. I am suspicious the Dutch won't be very motivated to make an effort.

@commonsense2008 I am dutch too but we do care about the european cup because we only won it once in 1988 its the only international price we ever won so, hoping we will get our revanche against spain.

@commonsense2008 Het team was niet altijd gebouwd om Robben.. Sneijder was (veel) belangrijker. Het probleem nu is, dat Robben,Sneijder en van Bommel het seizoen van hun leven speelden. Sneijder was altijd beslissend en Robben was dat ook ( met een eigen actie).. Het probleem was echt een goede spits. Robin van Persie had opzich ook op rechts kunnen spelen en Robben naar links, een spits als v. Nistelrooy had gewoon de Cup kunnen winnen.. Kuyt en Huntelaar... nee..
