  • @ThePhantomLash This was not a hot plate. I had it sitting inside a crock pot.

  • If you can afford to buy trader Joe organic milk...you can afford to buy yoghurt

  • @elticorico1 Cuz, you can keep making more and more and more, by just adding milk every time your yogurt is almost out and never buy yogurt again! ;)

  • Ew, don't add gelatine to your yogurt!!! If you want it thicker yogurt, you strain some whey out of it in a clean, cloth hankerchief in a saladstrainer. you put the handkerchief in the strainer, put the strainer on a plate or in a bowl(to catch the whey) and you pour the yogurt on the handkierchief. Then you stick it in the fridge(or leave it on the counter) overnight and in the morning you can see if you like the thickness. If it's too thick, you just ad back some of the whey.

  • yuck consistency?

  • @Sechuban , It was still runny because it still needed to set up in the fridge for a hour.

  • Step 1 buy plane yougurt step 2 add fruit step 3 eat step 4 displease video step 5 like video because disliking is mean :P

  • what I don't understand if you are making yort why go out and buy yogurt to make yogurt?

  • @1091Floyd21 its not the lactic acid bacteria your trying to add, its the probiotics in the yogurt your trying to add.

  • A tart, tangy sour is good, like a sharp, pleasant sour. It should smell like cultures or yeast, like, if it smells bad or foul then somethings wrong. But I drink raw cow milk kefir (which is basically a fermented milk drink and it is good and very good for you. I assume it is similar in smell, the kefir smells like yeast, although i could be wrong.

  • Best video i've come across so far! The use of text instead of just someone's voice is much easier to understand and can pause and read. WEll done, thanks.
