Antibiotic resistant bacteria are now spreading rapidly in our hospitals & community. High bed occupancy rates, high levels of temporary nursing staff or low cleanliness scores no longer have significantly higher MRSA rates. By stopping routine placement of intravenous cannula you can reduce infection rate.

Many doctors claim a high success rate for inserting cannula, but this is not true. On average doctors need 2-3 attempts to successfully place a cannula in the vein, so more entry pint for bacteria living on your arms.

During emergencies optimal attention to aseptic technique is not always feasible and multiple punctures are more likely to result in introducing bacterial infection. Poor aseptic technique, failure of antiseptics to kill pose the greatest threat of introducing antibiotic resistant bacteria into a vein by doctors and nurses result in bacteraemia and death.

Biocides (disinfectants, antiseptics or alcohol) are used to clean skin before procedure or introduce cannula through the skin. Bacteria are now said to be resistant to these biocides. 58% of healthcare workers are said to be colonized with MRSA and nurses
Washing hands more often develop dermatitis and increased bacterial count in hands.

"Your life is in our hands, so as doctors we have invented an alternative to "Do No Harm"

I invented this new technique in 2005 after identifying an association of practical procedures with spreading MRSA in neonates. Major corporations have their so called Safety Cannula that is said to protect hospital care workers and are pressing on promoting their device. Though MRSA alone has killed more healthy people than AIDS, these corporations have not helped us make our concept available.

I have tried my best to make this device available but failed because the device will help us successfully insert cannula in the first attempt and so not in the interest major corporations.

I can only say Sorry to those people who have suffered or died as a result of this dreadful infection and pray someone has a better idea to stop this threat to us all.
