Yuja Wang joins Michael Tilson Thomas and the SF Symphony October 27 and 31, in two different Russian piano concertos: On Oct. 27, she performs Rachmaninoff's Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini, and on Oct. 31, Prokofiev's Piano Concerto No. 2. She tours Asia as soloist with MTT and the SFS Nov. 4-20, appearing with them in her native Beijing and Shanghai, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Macau, and Tokyo.
