Ghosts don't like the Spirit Box?

My first test session of the P-SB7 Spirit box, as seen on Ghost Adventures. The "spirit box" is a AM/FM frequency sweep radio. Supposedly, spirits can speak through the white noise generated from the rapid switching of AM/FM radio stations.

Setting used: AM stations in reverse, switching every 200-300 ms.

Listen closely and you can make out a million different phrases and comments in that FM flux racket. It's not spirits. It's just the tuner riding the bandwave. Meanwhile the inventer of the spirit box is sitting on a big pile of money. HAHA!

I don't think it's just the tuner riding the bandwave. I can't explain one voice + whole phrase carrying over several different frequencies. It switches a station every 0.2 seconds. You don't really get it so much in this vid. Check out my "Interview with the ghosts of shaker village" and you'll hear what I mean. I've used it enough times and had to listen back to all this to know that while it may not be spirits, but it's not just the radio either.

Your right!,,The spirits,,most spirits don't want no living human to be able to record or even hear them, And definitely don't like to be caught on camera or video. This is the only reason for battery drain..Spirits have all the energy they want and need from every where,,Earths natural EMF fields, power lines etc.Whoever came up with this battery drain because they need the energy is so far off base they need to hang up their recorder and go back to McDonalds and finish their internship.

From my limited experience, I do agree that some spirits do not want any contact or conversation, or at the very least seem to be annoyed by it. While others however, particularly children, are perhaps more curious and apt to engage in brief conversation.

As for the battery drain, I've never personally experienced it. I have a hypothesis that maybe they don't necessarily feed off of this energy, but rather can manipulate it (like Pyro from X-men)

Once, while at Eastern State Pen. in 2010, we were doing a GB session in a cell. I was playing with my flashlight, I turned it on and then off again in a second. We then heard a voice come over the box which said "flash" a second or two later. I think we used a Franks' box that Frank Sumption had built.
