The DieHard KingFisher

An early morning walk with my dog turns out to be heart aching. A kingfisher was tangled up in some fishing line left behind by irresponsible fish catcher( calling them anglers would be too kind ). Not sure if is just entangled in the line or if a hook has got it. Probably got entangled during high tide and now left high and dry at low tide.

It is still putting up a struggle to free itself.

I called the police who then called the Agriculture and Vet Authorities.
They arrived about 2 hours later, but then the kingfisher was no longer there.
It has probably free itself after the rising morning sun warm it a little, or maybe someone with more resources has freed it.
